Tomboy Notes

Tomboy is a simple app that allows one to take notes about any topic. A patch exists that adds Avahi support to Tomboy. If you are running a Tomboy instance that is Avahi aware, you would be able to share your notes with your colleagues on you local network. The below picture shows such a patched Tomboy application.

Gnome Games

In a future version, Gnome Games may support network games using Avahi. At the time only Bonjour and Howl is supported. The above shot was taken from a patch that adds Avahi support to Gnome Games.

Gobby

Gobby is a so-called collaborative editor. It shares this concept with other editors like MateEdit for KDE, SubEthaEdit for OSX or Sobalipse for the Eclipse platform.
