Description

Hello,

Here is a fr.po to translate avahi in french, to improve some user's experience. Do you want I import it in Launchpad ? (I'm a member of ubuntu-l10n-fr, and can translate avahi into Launchpad too)

Have a nice day.

Thanks for your patch.

No, I won't hook up anything with Launchpad. It's proprietary software, specific to one distribution, doesn't work with upstream and there are better free alternatives around. I will eventually hook the translation stuff up with Fedora Transifex however.

kalon33, is it normal in French to have a space before a colon? As in:

msgstr "Impossible de créer le solveur d'adresses : %s\n"
                                            here ^

Note to anyone reusing the attached file, there is a "%s" missing in the translation for "Failed to add address: %s\n" (avahi-utils/avahi-publish.c:126). I'll fix that up before committing.

Thanks for the translation.

Yes, in french we always have a space (indivisible if possible) before a ":", a "?" or a "!".

Sorry for the missing "%s"...

Have a nice day.

I changed all the spaces before ':' and ';' to narrow no-break space according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-breaking_space and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_punctuation in revision 1772.
